Help Sd card ??

What should be on my sd card? If apps can't go there then why am I'm seeing names from apps in there? If I delete the stuff on the card will it mess up the apps?

Anything on the SD card is non-essential. You can delete everything and itll repopulate as needed. Just watch out for any photos or videos stored on it


Apps will create folders there to store things.

Are you talking about the internal sd card or the external sd card?
You may be seeing some data or app-setup backups for apps.?

I'm talking about the one I take out and put back in if I want. I don't want to lose any pix or vids or music. But my card is full of Crap! Stuff from apps I don't even have anymore.

If apps are storing cache etc, it should be on the internal not external. I'd say just delete, it's not going to hurt.

Nothing should auto store there anyway unless you set an option to, for like pics or vids

Where do I find that option? I know I have my pix set to store there. That's how I found out its about full.

Pictures are in the dcim or camera folders

There will be an option in the camera settings to change storage locations

More rather I mean only pics and vids should store there automatically as long as you have it set to.

Apps shouldn't store there. Good chance it's only cache anyway, explore the folder to make sure it's not data/obb if you have games that have obb data before you go deleting.
