Help SD cards keep gong corrupt

Every so often I'll go into my photo gallery and have photos that are just blank thumbnails. I put the SD card into my PC and they come up as corrupt. MP3s will start to get 'hiccups' when playing.

It's not the card - at first I had a Duracell 16GB card, and had the problem. I got a nice Sandisk 32GB and it's doing the same thing.

I have to pull out the card, put it in the PC, do a "chkdsk [drive letter:] /r" to salvage what I can.

I'm getting sick of losing my data. Is this happening to anyone else, and if it's a common problem, any word on a fix???

Yes it is happening way too often!
The problem is that people take out the SD card without letting the phone know and it doesent reload the items.
In other words you have to eject the card from the system before you attempt to take it out.

To safely eject your card without corrupting just go to settings/storage settings or sd card settings. Then just click eject card or remove card wait a couple of seconds and then take the card out.

Ummm, I'm not sure what you guys are talking about  (about damaging when removing card)

I don't take my card out at all. It's corrupting WHILE IN the phone. I'll have a gallery of whatever # of photos, all working fine, then after a random period of time, photos start getting corrupt. Same with MP3s. Songs will be fine, then after awhile 'hiccups' will start showing up in them while they're playing. It's definite data corruption of some sort. 'Has nothing to do with taking the card out because the card was in the phone the whole time.

The only time I take it out is after it goes corrupt, then put it in my PC and do a chkdsk [drive letter:] /rto repair it, but it never repairs all files. Only some.

.. and this has happened multiple times on different SD cards.
