I've seen the mishaps of people buying from eBay, that the cards are fakes.

I was considering Amazon, but you can get sellers on there like eBay.

So, I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for purchasing an SD card.

Buy on Amazon *from* Amazon. You will have no issues.
