SD Cards...

[Dudditz]

Hey Guys,

Another wee question for you all, should be an easy one, does the Desire come with an SD card in the box? If so what size?

Can find anywhere on the T-Mob site that says if it does or not etc.

Read some places saying 4 gig and some saying 8 gig....

Not to fussed if it is huge, either should be fine as it will mainly be used for storage of photos, got my Archos for all my music.

Cheers

Good question, I watched a review saying that they come with a 4 gig card.

I'm not sure, but keep in mind that it's micro-sd, not sd. You don't want to waste your money on a card that won't work with your device.

Yeah meant Micro SD... Don't reckon I will be buying one anyway if it comes with a decent size one.

Where you getting it from?

Mine came with a 4gig one already installed in the phone

It should come with a 4GiG Micro SD card installed. With HTC sync on it for the PC.

From some of the unboxing vids and descriptions I seen around seems that unbranded/sim free ones come with a 2GB card, though most of the (UK) operators are shipping them with a 4GB card

Mine came direct from t-mobile uk with a 4gb

Just to confirm, the answer is yes - regardless of the network or where you get it from.

The HTC Desire (from new anyway) should ALWAYS come with a 4Gb MicroSD card installed.

If yours doesn't, you need to take it back!

Yeah its in the phone, don't go looking in the box for the 4G microSD its pre installed within the phone under the battery. To be fair within days I went and bought a 16G stick to put all my music and files on.
