Help SD Mount/Unmount Help

Okay im not sure what is going on but this is what happened:

I took off my SD Card without using the "Unmount" Option in my phone...stupid yes i know, but it slipped my mind..

Now im missing a TON of pictures....not sure what i have to do or what not as thats the part im lost at....any help?

Chances are that you have lost those pictures and cannot retrieve them. You can try connecting your SD card directly to your computer to see if it's just your phone that's not recognizing them, but no guarantees.

I did the same thing (same reason 2!) & put it in a few times ...& it seemed to 'Find Itself'...(ie: ALL 5000 picts came back!!!)
Verizon has said its actually ok...(she does it alot...w/no harm!)
I can't say it was just a GodThing...or true!?
