Root SD Speed Increase apps

I haven't used one before and am curious if anyone has tried one on their Prevail yet?

If so is there a big change and what size did you set your cache to in order to get it?

Also what app? Searching the market i've found a few, but i'm curious which ones work with the Prevail.

I use SD Speed Boost, I set the read ahead to 3200mb's I have a class 10 card I think it helps. I used sd tools to do lots of testing and that is the setting I got the best numbers for. 14mbs write and 28mbs read if im remembering correctly

I am using SD Speed Boost too, but I do not know how big to make the cache. What app do you run to get those benchmark numbers. for read and write?

Ya I tried by trial and error, I used SD Tools by Veluscek Ales in android market. Set the read ahead size run the sd tools benchmark reset the size rerun the benchmark, etc.
What class is your sd card? for a class 6 start with 2400kb read ahead, or close to that. for a class 4 try 2mb
Any where you see me type 3200mb or any number with 4 digits I meant kb.
