Hello and welcome to Android Forum motoko00.

You cannot expect a memory card that is formatted and set up for a Nokia symbian handset to automatically work in an Android one.

Your best bet is to tranfer all you files from the SDcard to your PC. Then place the card in your Android phone and go to...

Settings > Storage > Format SD card... and format the card.

Now you can copy your stuff back to the SD card and reboot your phone and all should be good.

Hope this helps. :D

Hi ironass, thanks for the welcome and for the response.

I allready backuped all the info. The problem i have is that while haveing the sdcard inserted in the phone, the "format sdcard" and the "insert sdcard" options appear unabled (grey text) so i can't format it.

Now the card is empty and the problem persists. :_(

Well, i will post what i have done until now with no result:

1. I have 'quickformated' the sdcard in windows -> My phone doesn't seem to notice the card is in
2. I have 'slow-formated' the sdcard in windows in fat32 -> My phone doesn't seem to notice the card is in
3. I have 'slow-formated' with the 'overwrite' option with this SW recomended here -> My phone doesn't seem to notice the card is in

The sdcard works well while using it from windows, you can record, play, delete content without problems, but when i plug the sdcard in the phone the 'sdcard-options' appear disabled as no card were there. I can't insert nor format and info options show as 'no info available'.

Any chance that you could try another SDcard in your phone?

That might settle the question once and for all.
