Help sdhc card issue

i have formatted the micro sdhc(class 4) card as FAT32 system and then inserted into mobile...

Settings\Storage does not show sd card

and also in task manager for sd card it shows 0.0 bytes

please i need help....

Format the SDHC card on the phone itself. This has helped a lot of people with similar problems.

Go to Settings->Storage->Format SD card to do so.

Format SD card is not enabled..

and one more thing this card is not getting detected by PC...

I tried inserting in other mobile and it asks for password...

Is this the reason not getting detected? can anyone tell me how to remove password?

Did you get this card form a legitimate store? Or on ebay?

I was using this card in Nokia e72 for more than a year, its still working great in E72.....

I guess the password on the card is making it worse, I am not remembering if I kept password for it...


I guess the card is from SanDisk or Transcend

When you say that you have a password on it, what exactly do you mean?

Also, chiefroastbeef does make a good point. Most cards bought on eBay are fakes. Have you come close to filling the card on the E72 and did it work OK? If so, the issue is likely to be the format.

When you say that you guess the card is from SanDisk or Transcend, cannot you tell by looking at it?
