Help sdk not fetching phone... help?

I posted about this issue I am having in another forum, however I am not getting anywhere there so I figured I'd try here.

I am currently stuck. I have everything working, and installed for the phone to hook up to my desktop PC, however I am trying to do the same on my laptop for those times when I want to work on my laptop rather than my desktop I can.

I have SDK/JDK installed, I also updated everything needed for SDK. SDK works when I run the ddms.bat file in the tools folder, however it is not picking up my phone when it is plugged in.

What am I doing wrong? Or, what am I missing? Is there a step that I forgot to do that I did on my desktop PC? It has been so long since I have done it on my PC that I think I am missing a step and need a nudge in the right direction.

I would highly appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Yeah, I kind of figured that is what it is. However, where in the world do I get the drivers because I can't seem to remember or anything. It's driving me nuts.

Okay, I mean because my phone is already rooted and everything, so I don't want to redo that if that makes sense. Just need the drivers, I'll check it out though. Thanks. :)

Okay, did that and got them downloaded and everything. However, went into SDK, DDMS.bat and still it doesn't register my phone at all in the list. Here's a screen shot of what I'm talking about:

As you can see in the screenshot in the outlined red box, my phone is not getting listed. So I am at my wits ends, not sure what is going on here.

Any suggestions, anyone? Been at this for the past 2 days now.

Nevermind, I feel completely stupid. lol! The reason it wasn't reading my phone was because I didn't switch it from charging to disk drive, durr to myself. lol

Thanks to those who helped me out get as far as I did, I was definitely having a blonde moment and I just totally didn't think that was what needed to be done. Again, durr me... lol Took way to long for me to figure that out ha.

Just glad I figured it out finally. lol
