Help Search button

Hi guys so im planning to buy an IS pretty soon but I only have 1 question tho. Does the search button's light still stands out of the rest of the buttons on the phone? Coz i heard this was a very common problem of the IS users that the search button light is too bright than the other buttons.

they all vary in brightness depending to the different ways you look at them because they have that rotating feauture

and in what way is this a problem ? And they all look the same to me on my phone btw (5 weeks old).

I just had this problem, phone was fine for a month then something broke...
Now the search button is brighter than the others, you can see a LED shining through from underneath where it's not supposed to.
The search icon now looks like it has a circle around it, WTF?

But only in portrait mode, it fixes itself in landscape mode...
