Hi All,
I bought a Kindle Fire recently and after playing with it for a week, have decided it isn't for me. I had setup my GMail account using the in-built mail application. I have now deleted the account and am going to do a factory reset before returning it to the store.
I however wonder if a factory reset is sufficient. The manual does say it 'deletes' all personal data but I wonder all it means is a filesystem delete. That would be insufficient if the mail app stored my credentials / email in plain text. I quickly looked up secure deletion apps on the app store but couldn't find any.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Krish
