Help "Security Error" @ loading screen

I'm at the end of my rope here. My phone started going crazy about 2 weeks ago but it wasn't disabled or anything but the gallery wouldn't open at times. But I simply installed a new gallery last week. The past two weeks for no reason I get these "Google (something) had stopped a lot." Now my phone was working this morning but the keyboard crashed so I sought to restart it but then it give me the error out of nowhere.

How can I fix this, if there is a way to fix it?

Are you rooted?

Either way I would suggest backing up what data you can.

Then factory reboot.

If it doesn't fix the issue you might try a warranty replacement.

You will need the data back up no matter which way works.

Good luck

I haven't done anything to root my phone and I attempted the reboot. No luck. How exactly do I get a warranty (virgin mobile)?

Did you do an actual factory reset through the settings menu or just reboot the phone?
If you did do a full reset and it didn't fix the problem, contact your local VM store/dealer and ask them how to proceed or call the VM cust. service #. Whoever you talk to, make sure they know that you have already tried the factory reset because that is the first thing they are going to tell you to do.
The answer regarding warranty may depend on how long you have had the phone, but either way going to the source will get you a more accurate answer than any speculation here.

I think I should mention that it won't let me past the security Error LG screen so I can't get in the phone. I did the volume-up + Power method. Whichever that is.

^unbrick! someone posted a very clear guide halfway down the unbrick thread and it should be stickied.. the op instructions are a bit confusing. If all else fails, I hear that VM has good warranty replacement. They just send a new one, no big deal. If you fix the one you have, you could sell it, or have someone else use it, too. Good luck.

Note that replacement requires return of the damaged phone. If you never rooted I would suggest warranty return so you can restart with a fully working phone.
