Accessories Seidio 2600 mAh Extended Battery Now Available

I'm seriously tempted...but haven't had my Droid X long enough to be sure whether it's worth the extra thickness...

No problem...I think they could have done a better job with the cover. The color doesn't seem like it matches well either. Hopefully there will be some "real-life" specs soon.
 
The problem with these batteries is sometimes the phone won't recognize it properly. Or the capacity is not really 2600... maybe closer to 2200 and you get a huge hump. where the oem 1800 is sleek and lasts forever.

(based on my experience with seidio extra capacity HTC batteries in the past. )
 
Seidio regularly over-rates their batteries by about 20%.

Count on this being ~2100 mAh battery.

Not such a big jump from the OEM extended 1800 mAh battery, especially considering the ugly, square-edged cover. Also, the OEM extended is 1800 minimum, 1900 peak so the performance difference is even less.
