Accessories Seidio Active case falling apart

Got my Seidio case about 9 months ago, which I admit is a while ago. After about 1 month, I noticed that the corners on the hard plastic were starting to peel, which is a known issue. Since I had a black case, I chose not to exchange it. Now, after 9 months, the soft rubber is starting to crack and fall apart.

Normally, I would say that 9 months is a long time for a case, but then I noticed Seidio's warranty. "Effective with purchases made beginning January, 2011, Seidio will warrant its products against workmanship and manufacturing defects for the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase on cases, holsters, screen guards, and mounting hardware. Purchases prior to January have a 6 months warranty"

So I guess the products they made prior to January they know are crap, but the products after January are somehow better? This is bogus and I am very disappointed in them.

They did have random peeling problems for some people but my active case has been great! Email and see is the only thing I can recommend

I apologize about the issue. We changed our warranty period based on customer feedback and we always strive to improve product quality, so that is not to say products from one period are better than other, we just chose the first day of this year to put into effect our new warranty policy.
