Accessories Seidio Extended llfe battery for $32.00

Ah, my night.. it's ruined!!

I just talked to the chat representative and he said that he is confident that I will receive a Seidio product, and I told him that others have received a generic brand. He said if it is not Seidio, I can return it without any charge. It better be, what a hassle..
 
Just a heads up, I called to speak to a supervisor. They refunded my money and told me to keep the battery. Guess, can't complain about that all the way anyway. Still a little disappointed and considering ordering the Seidio instead or maybe the Chinese cheapies.
 
I can confirm it. My battery came today, and it's the Chinese knockoff. AND they have changed the picture on Overstock so that it's not a Seidio battery anymore. If I have any trouble with Overstock about it, I hope whoever has the picture of the Seidio battery on the Overstock site will be willing to share it with me. I don't know.....should I keep it? Or is it too much to have paid $30 for the Chinese battery?
 
Too much. It's like half that price for 2 on ebay.

Okay, I just did live chat with Overstock.com . They said they will send me a return label for the Chinese battery and will ship me the Seidio battery in 5-10 business days. I made it clear I would only be okay with the Seidio 3500, so I hope that's what I get. I wish they'd have said I could keep this one in the meantime.

Make sure they are going to send the Seidio... You might want to call just in case, because when I talked to the sup he said he would send out the correct battery, but saw they didn't have that one in stock available to send out. Not sure if they are going to order a battery directly from another company to send to you, but cross the fingers and hope for the best, but just in case might want to get some clarification. Otherwise could be like 2-3 weeks with disappointing results.
 
This really pisses me off. I'm just going to go ahead and order the Seidio off of Amazon, instead waiting for this knock off POS to come. I guess I learned my lesson.

We can confirm that the battery that is on OverStock is NOT Seidio product and user should purchase at their own risk. We have obtained a sample and want to share the difference:

Seidio Battery for the EVO is:

1. Black in Label
2. Cells from Japan
3. Rated at 3500mAh instead of 2700mAh

If you purchased a battery from them and got the battery and door pictured on the right, please do not accept it as Seidio product and return them promptly.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

I called to have mine returned and the guy wanted to charge me the return shipping. I told him that it wasn't the one pictured. He finally agreed to wave any charges to me.

The back case with the red x is better looking the seido one.
 
Wadester: what belt clip holder do you have for evo+seidio 3500? I am looking for such a thing too, Thanks.

I love the Siedio 3500 and don't have a problem with the back at all. It fits in my hand much better than with the standard battery. I typically have 50% of power remaining at the end of the day.

In the 12+ years I've had a cell phone, I've never put it in my pocket. I always get the belt clip holder which work really well for me.
