Accessories Seidio Innocase Acive: The Review!

case looks great, getting it tomorrow, this will be the case i was looking for, the innocase ii got real lose on me and it creaks on one side, especially near the volume rocker. I need a thicker feel to the phone...when its naked i feel like im going to drop it any minute especially when holding it like a camera...hopefully the added bulk will solve that for me as well.

How thick is the hard cover? Is it thicker than the standard back plate of the phone?

How thick is the overall 2 piece set up (once on the phone) compared to the hard silicone case?

I would say that the hard cover is a little thinner (only) than the back cover, and the hard and soft together are slightly thicker.

and having not owned the had case, i cannot say.

The custom holster for Innocase Active should be ready in 7-10 days from now

I don't know if this is currently the case with your combo deals, but I suggest offering a slight discount to people that buy the Active case plus holster, so as $10 the entire package.

I am seriously considering the Active.

Thanks.

How "loose" does the hard cover feel? Or does the whole thing feel like one piece once both parts are on?

just got my case in today...

Very impressed with this case, feels very solid, and I am almost confident in letting my phone drop from 4-5 feet on to the side walk with it being okay.

The power button is actually fairly easy to press on the top, something that the initial reviewer said was difficult...maybe its just me or the one i have but i barely have to press and it works fine for me.

Fit and finish is perfect, the only thing I would say is that unlike the Innocase II, when laid on a table screen first there is no protection from the sides to lift the screen up...

but it is much thicker feeling and more comfortable...

I approve.

For what its worth, i have suspected that my phone button, as it was built, is a little hard to hit, so if others are working better....well, more power to them. :)

Also - should say it takes a little bit of force to push it, the rubber part over the button is easy to reach; just not press.

Agreed, it takes a little more pressure to turn the phone on / off, but it's not a big deal at all.

SeidioSeidio, any chance you will sell the two pieces individually so that we can mix and match colors?

think i'm going to try one of these as well. only thing that concerns me is the mention of the front of the case not raising up enough to protect the screen if laid flat or dropped on the face. i don't use a screen protector so that may be an issue.

thanks for the review!

It is raised up just slightly, but how often does the phone fall flat on the screen?

hopefully never! lol. i already have the innocase II and i like it, but this one seems that it would offer better protection and wear better over time.

to be honest, my innocase II is already just a slight bit looser than it was before. i think this may be normal. just concerned that this little bit of play will allow particles in between the case and the phone that could cause scratches to the phone casing. with the rubber "sock" of this case that may not be as much of an issue.

I've owned the Innocase, Innocase II, and now the Active. From a case perspective, I think the Active is the best. So far, it's been tight around the phone and I agree, I think it will provide the most protection of the three. I really like the feel of the case.

Can't wait 'till they release this case in the other colors. I had a similar case for my iPhone and really liked it.
