FWIW, the cover is a bit difficult at first but once you know the trick to getting it on, it's simple and extremely sturdy.

I read the link and tried what you said. It still won't go on. I followed their instructions as well (basically start at the opposite side you said).

Two other people with Epic phones tried to get the cover on as well.

I'm fairly mechanically inclined, I'm pretty sure I could put the cover on if it fit correctly. Now, I might accept that I just got a bad one, but everyone who bought this has a problem getting it on. Seidio has had this problem with other phone models as well and even replaced an entire line of covers before.

I'm not an anti Seidio zealot. I have a Seidio case and screen cover and both are excellent products. This product has really turned me off to Seidio though.

I'm not sure I would consider myself a "genious" :confused: or even a genius :rolleyes:, but I sure as heck fire can't get the cover on. Thanks for the insight.
 
It doesn't take a genious to spell "genius." LOL Sorry, back on topic. I hope Seidio will ship you a new cover and make it right.
 
I have to agree with everyone here that the back case on this thing is horrible... for people that have not used seidio products before this may be no big deal, but for the price they charge for QUALITY, this is quite bad....

The sides have to be massaged to clip and still there is a risk that it may not hold...

I have used Seidio on many phones and this is just not that great of a product (Sorry Seidio, this is a FAIL on your part.)
 
BTW I called Seidio on this and in order to get this fixed, it isn't a simple back cover swap, essentially it means to send everything back and then get a whole new set (since I bought from a third party)

I would imagine it would save some $$ and keep customers happy if Seidio just sent out replacement back plates to customers who need them. (also it will keep their distributors happy not having to deal with returns..)

That sucks. I'll see how they handle mine. I PM'd the seidio rep and he has been helpful so far.

I just wanted to let everyone know that Seidio sent me a new back to my phone and it works. It fits pretty well actually. The battery itself works great and am pleased that I can actually use it. Seidio messed up on the initial design, but they made it right. Thanks Seidio.
 
I just got my replacement cover and battery too. However, my experience is just the opposite. They didn't fix anything. All they did is remove the foam padding on the inside and compensated by making the battery base bigger. Now the battery is hard to install because it is too tight. The cover is still just as hard to install! AND now there is a hollow space between the battery and the cover. Press down & sides pop out! Worse now than before. I regret spending extra postage to send it back...for NOTHING. No "fixed" anything! :-(
