Seidio Pre-Ordering Cases, Combos and Screen Protectors

my sapphire blue II and screen shipped today. I will let people know once I get them.

Yes, please let us know. I was wondering how come you didn't get the holster as well? Cuz they are a little too big to put in your pocket...

The one and only accessory I want for the Thunderbolt is the charging stand. Given that the USB port is facing down in landscape mode, this is all but required. The kickstand just won't work for regular in-office use where it needs to be charging. Why is this always the last accessory to get made and distributed rather than the first?

Regarding cases and screen protectors... I've given up on both. I just don't like any extra bulk at all on the phone. It needs to slip easily into a front pocket, and no case allows for that. And with the Gorillaglass on these phones now, I've never gotten a scratch. The case on my original Droid is beat to hell, but the screen looks almost new, and this thing has been to hell and back, dropped numerous times, etc.

Regarding the extended batteries... I've gotten the Seido extended batteries for every phone I've had (old Treos, Blackberries, Droid). My general experience is they're good, but uneven. The OEM batteries are more consistent and have lasted longer, the Seido batteries hold a larger charge but seem to have a shorter life. I charge and keep three batteries with me at all times, usually a Seido as the main battery, and then two charged OEMs. When I'm traveling and it's crazy, it's a huge relief to just swap out the battery and be loaded.

Received my Innocase II and Holster Combo Today.

Here are some pics of the new case vs. my crappy HTC Eris wearing it's Innocase :D

I'm happy to see that the thickness of the Thunderbolt vs. the Eris is almost identical.

very nice pics! thx. What is the case feel like? flimsy? or pretty sturdy? what model did you buy?

I don't know if Seidio representative can answer this or another forum member. Is the Active X case thinner than the Innocase II Surface? Deciding between the two. Also anyone know when the Active X will be shipping?

I don't know for sure, but I had the Surface on my Moto Droid and it wasn't that thick. I'd think the Active X would be slightly thicker because it's two cases in one, the rubber and hard case. Not near as thick as the Otterbox, though -- whoa!

I had both for my INC, and the Active is indeed bigger, that is the reason there is 3 types of holsters, naked, Inno and active.

Hi all, I need some help.
I solved my battery issues with my Inc by buying a great Seidio external charger and a spare battery. While one is in the phone, the other is charging. I swap one out in the morning and one when I come home from work. It's been a good system and I'm never without juice. So, I wanted to prepare myself for the Bolt and do the same. Yet, I haven't found and external charger. Seidio is selling the battery, but not the charger this time around. Any ideas or help? Thanks a lot.

The Active X case will be a bit thicker because it is two layers in one case. The total thickness is going to be around 2.5mm.

We are developing the Accessory Plate for the ThunderBolt and is planning to release them really soon! If you already have our Multifunction Battery Charger, all you would need is the Accessory Kit for the TB!

Regards,

Just received my screen protector and case today. The case is very nice, it's very sturdy and hard but not like a brick either. The sapphire blue color is very nice, and not too bright. Very happy with the purchase ....now if only I had a Thunderbolt to put them to use.

I hope this doesn't happen, but if something delays the Thunderbolt for a really long time, can we refund Thunderbolt accessories we bought in advance of the release? I have 2 innocases and holtsters, and want to order 2 batteries, one for me and one for hubby! I am just afraid because of all the rumored problems the phone seems to be having.

We are accepting pre-orders for the ThunderBolt now! This includes our Innocase II Surface, Innocase II Surface Combos and our Ultimate Screen Guard. We will be shipping out accessories this Friday, so everyone can have protection by launch day!

Hi Seidio,
Maybe I can ask you when the Thunderbolt will be released because Verizon is being rude and likes to keep their loyal customers in the dark.

If the phone is ever released, do I need to buy another belt clip holster for the Innocase Rugged Holster Combo. How does it work? Is it two cases in one?

What is the best case to get if you want an extended battery in the future or do you need to buy a new case for the extended battery?
Thanks

The Active X is two layers, but it is still one case. The Rugged case is the one that is two cases in one. Unfortunately, we won't get the Active X this week before the coupon expires but we should have the case in the next few weeks.
