Seidios 1750 mAH Battery

I talked to Sprint Customer Support today about my poor battery life, the guy ended up ordering me a brand new battery free of charge...I am not really sure how that is going to help as it probably will last just as long as my other battery. Is there a way to externally charge one of these?
Thanks for the help

Seido support rep says they'll be releasing the 3500mAh battery 'as soon as possible', but didn't have a set ETA or know much more about it.

Im not a Mugen Fan.. but Im intrigued. Any one have the 1800 and have any usage statistics? I would love to keep the stock Hero back, and not make my phone a brick...

for Sprint HTC Hero 2 1500mah Battery+Desktop Charger - eBay (item 250514383410 end time Nov-13-09 18:59:42 PST)

I was interested in getting the max capacity I could find without needing an extended battery cover. However, then I saw a bunch of people posting about the above kit from eBay and I decided to go for it. I figured $16 just to get a charger for charging a battery outside of the phone would be worth that, but then this comes with a 2-pack of 1500 size batteries. So far I've only been using one of them and I'm not completely finished "conditioning" it but I see little difference in performance as compared to the stock battery.

Now that I have 3 1500 size batteries, it just doesn't make sense to go buying another. I am pleased with the kit from eBay. Comes from Hong Kong so it takes almost 3 weeks but it's well worth it for the money.

Will it fit on an Eris, instead of that crappy Hero? Looks thin enough...
What a douche. none of of came over there saying the eris is crappy and that you are getting plugged for $60 more a month than us sprint users are paying. at least our screens wont scratch, and we have more physical buttons. ha!

O and our crappy hero's came out first (beat verizon to the punch.) and we have a 1500mah battery vs your 1300 mah battery...pow!

My screen hasn't scratched..at all.. where you getting this from?
I'm fine with paying more, for a better network. ;)
How many physical buttons do you need on a full touch screen phone? Gtfo..
Your battery may be 200mAh more than ours, but you still get terrible life...thus explaining why you're in this thread in the first place. :P

Anyways, I was just messin with you guys, I figured I'd do some TAROLLLINNN!!! cause I was bored.
Sorry. :D

Actually, From What I read.. Sprint signed an agreement to piggyback off of Verizon in 2007 for 1xRTT and technically means we share the same "Better" Network for Voice

HAHAHAHA, True!

It was a way to keep customers on Sprint.. Actually I haven't had ANY issue with data or voice since I've been on Sprint.. I moved over from AT&T and it was a HUGE improvement.. and a cut in the bill

Unfortunately the Contract prevents me from doing so. And the Cost of the Monthly bill was the reason I didn't go to Verizon. plus at that time no Droid.. I REALLY thought about it.. but no multitouch on the MotoDroid kinda killed it.. and the Eris is the same thing as the Hero in a different shell.

i've never had coverage issues, and my battery has never been under 50% in any day's usage. i also only pay $60 a month for essentially unlimited service, and this includes my equipment protection/insurance plan. also, sprint just sent me $150 last month for referring a half dozen people, and matched that amount to my referals as well.

imo, sprints service is just as good as any other, and at half the price.
