Help Selecting HSDPA Mode

Dear All
I've been using my HTC Desire phone from the past one month.

In settings > Wireless & Networks > MobileNetworks > Network Mode there are only 3 options
1. GSM Only
2. WCDMA Only
3. GSM / WCDMA auto

There is no option to select HSDPA mode.
Could anybody help me figure out how to do so??

Thank You

Now someone might correct me here, but AFAIK, GSM/WCDMA are simply the network interface standards, GPRS / EDGE / HSDPA etc, are the protocols used over the interface.

The best bet would be to leave it on Auto. The phone will automatically select the fastest protocol available in your location.

If you are concerned that you're not getting HSDPA speeds and think you should be, maybe it's disabled by your carrier on your contract. I'm with T-Mobile in the UK, and unless you have their Web 'n' Walk+ service you're stuck on 3G.
