One of our M8s would not receive calls from one number - they would go to voice mail after two rings. Sprint CS tried several things from their end and updated the phone's profile. Still would not receive calls from that one number (no, the number was NOT on the blocked list). I took the phone to a Sprint repair center and the technician was stymied. He removed and then replaced the phone on the network. The phone worked except from that one number. He then suggested removing the problematic sending number from the phone's directory and rebooting the phone. It worked!!
Apparently the directory entry had became corrupted (for lack of a better term) resulting in calls from that number to be blocked. Deleting the number from the directory and rebooting the phone had the effect of clearing the block. After reentering the number into the directory, the phone continued to work.
