Selective OS Installation

Hello,

Is there a way to selectively install an older Android OS onto a phone or tablet? For example, say I want to install Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 on a Galaxy SII, how would I go about doing that?
 
Welcome to the Forums :) We're glad your here.

The only way I am aware of is to root your phone. This is something you will have to look at in own Galaxy S 2 section of the forums.
