Hi! I'm trying to do two things.
First, I'd like to make it so that, even when my phone is on silence, certain numbers and texts will still make noise on my phone. I've looked at a few apps on the market, but my phone only vibrates and doesn't ring (on the free one I tried). It also didn't seem to work for texts (I'm using Handcent, BTW), and this one girl usually texts me...
Second, that same friend changed her phone and number, and gave her old phone to her sister. So all her texts were listed under her sister in Handcent. I managed to move the regular SMS messages by making a backup (using SMS Backup and Restore. Great software, BTW), using a search and replace on the backup file with her old and new numbers, and restoring the backup. It worked, except her MMS are still under her sister. If possible, I'd like to move them to her new number, still in the thread where they belong (not saving them to the SD card and viewing them separately or anything.)
If it helps for either, I'm rooted, and running Charity Smoked Glass Themed Version 11.
