Selling up and need info

GalaxyS2

Well-Known Member
Hi all. I'm going to selling the s2 and get a new phone, thing is i've lost the bit of paper that i had telling me what the original firmware was. I'm currently on andyX ICS and want to go back to standard. So as i dont know the firmware which standard ICS would i install? I have bought a usb jig to reset counter. I'm in uk. The phone is a sim free phone from the car phone warehouse and have had it since may 2011.

Is there anything else i would need to do?

Personally I'd just sell it as it is. At the end of the day they will be getting a phone that has already been rooted (less hassles for them if they don't know how) and operating at its full potential instead of having limitations in place. Also seems a bit more honest than trying to hide the fact that it's been rooted, I know I'd like to know the history of what I'm buying.

I'd leave it as it is. Personally I'd prefer to buy an updated device. If you really want to wind things back then stick on one of the later gingerbread roms. Mine was on KJ1 when I bought it about 8 months ago.
