hey

is it possible to send apps via bluetooth to another htc handset?

i have a desire and want to send some apps to my dad's wildfire

possible?

also as a side note - he's unable to find some apps on the marketplace

flood it for example - doesn't appear on his wildfire YET it does on mine

does the marketplace block certain apps depending on what phone your using?

Yes - download astro file manager and the bluetooth module. Use astro to back-up your app then send the back-up (there might be a better way but this works for me).

Not block, but apps have to be authorised for a given device. You sometimes find there is a slight lag from a new device appearing to all apps being avialable for it.

You can use AndroAppLink. It's an app transfer manager to copy your android apps to other android devices, or even store it in your PC using Bluetooth technology.
