Sending MMS

I can receive MMS messages fine but can't send them. Called customer service and they told me that I had to have the 1 in front of the 10-digit number to send pictures then had me *228 and remove the battery but that didn't solve the problem. My BF's cousin had to take her back to the Metro store where they reset the phone to stock but she has the same problem.

Any ideas on why I can receive picture texts but not sent them? Thanks.

do you have data on before sending the message?

Messages are only sent through metro's network and not through wifi.

Even if you turn on data after sending, it will stay as sending(sadly )

yeah like cubone said, make sure your data is on and you are set to metro's network. New phones sometimes have to work them selves in. I've had issues receiving pics

Yes, my data is on when I tried to send the picture message. After the *228, it just stays sending now. Guess I need to be more patient, it's only been a week with the new service.
