Root Sense 3.0 on a Stock rom?

First you have to root your phone. After root, you can't just load a different Sense version. You will need to find a Sense 3.0 ROM you like and load that ROM.

Once you have rooted your phone just pick any one of the Sense 3.0 ROMs available for this phone and load that onto your phone. TSM trinity is a nice Sense 3.0 ROM.

That's kinda what in wanting to do, sense 3 on andybonestock, I'm already rooted, can flash the Rom whenever. Just need the files etc to load sense 3.0

I need s-off to run the patch don't I? Got boot looped when I flashed the zip file.

Yes, you need S-Off. If you have S-On then you are not rooted.

Did you use the HTC method to unlock the bootloader? If so, you are not rooted, you just have an unlocked bootloader. Not the same thing.

My personal opinion, if you went and used the HTC method to unlock the bootloader you might as well go the next step and get S-Off. Your warranty is already void so you might as well. That way with S-Off there is no question about that causing any problems. If you do not want S-Off I'm not sure what to suggest to get this ROM to work. Sorry

Just my 2 cents.
