Been running Sense 3.0 since rooting. Nice, but not something to really jump up and down about. The lock screen settings and others are the most "wow" parts of Sense 3.0.

There's an app you can download from the market which will install a Sense 3.0 like lockscreen (the silver ring thingy) on your phone. Can't recall it's exact name off the top of my head, but I'll see if I can find it and post back.

EDIT: I found it, it's called the Agile Lock, and it comes in both free and paid versions.

I think it's agile lock. There is also one called ripple lock (same dev i think)

No, you can't get Sense 3 without rooting. Ace Hack Kit 12.3 will do the job very easily and without stress. You should check it out, it comes with a manual for very specific step by step instructions that will not frustrate you.
