Sense Dialer = sucks... Alternate dialer apps?

For looking up contacts I think the default dialer is awesome. Just use the numbers as letters and you'll see your contact in just a couple clicks. How could it get any better??
However,i do find the thing slow in starting up and in hanging up. Drives me nuts. Sometimes I hit hang up button and there is a lag of like 3 seconds before it reacts. Lame!

Yeah, I don't have problems finding contacts either. Just use the numbers as letters then you will be fine. I agree with you, sometimes it's not that responsive but it's acceptable for me. Once I click hang up button, it would turn red right away, but won't close immediately. I always hit the button and leave it.

i hope cyanogen's froyo rom may be able to fix this (or any rom by any dev for that matter). he (cyanogen) did things like this for the G1
