Help Sense news widget not updating.

I'm going to go out there and say I think I'm experiencing the same exact thing. New to Android, I downloaded the Google Reader and was using that, until I noticed the News app. I opened it up and saw my Google Reader account folders in there with a few feeds in each folder. That being said, I can't get them to update or anything. They aren't synced with my account and appear to just be frozen in time.
 
I un checked the news sync under accounts and sync under settings, cleared the data under applications settings and then re synced. Seems to have worked. Not sure what the problem was but seems ok now.
 
I did this too and i was asked for my goole/gmail password. Entered my password and it's all good. Thanks for the tip!

No problem! I was upset at 1st because the TB didn't come with the "news and weather genie" widget, which I used quite a bit on my old Eris. But I've come to really enjoy the new sense "News" widget. Probably my most used feature on my TB. When it stopped updating I was getting nervous. Glad this worked out for everyone!
 
Yeah man, i was getting the FC's with the news widget which I really liked but this one fits the bill just fine. Thanks again for the tip!

Can someone give a step by step on how to "clear the data"? Thanks.
 
1.Go into settings
2. Go to applications
3. Go to manage applications
4.Click on the "All" tab on the top
5. scroll down to "News" and select
6. Select "Clear Data"

If you have this problem you may also do the following:
1. Go to settings
2. Go to "Accounts and Sync"
3. Select "News"
4. "uncheck" sync news
5 Re-check sync news.

Should work now.
 
+1. Thanks for the help. Now if you could figure out how to get "Quick Record" to download. I tried "force close" and clear data on all things sync and download related and no use.
