Sense UI Clock/Weather widget.

My friend has a new Captivate and he really likes the look of the Sense UI clock/weather widget. If I have the apk file for the desk clock and the weather widget will they run on a rom that is not sense?

Us sense folk cant even get the HTC Widgets working with an alternative launcher like launcherpro, so there is a strong possibility that they wont port to a different phone.

An alternative that you can look into is an app called 'beautiful widgets'. It has several different choices for clock/weather widgets and it continually updating and adding more skins to chose from. It is a pay app, $2 an some change, but it is worth it if you looking for a sense style clock. I think you will fond that you wont have to stop there though with all the choices it offers.

Yes, another vote for Beautiful Widgets. I hemmed and hawed for ages because it wasn't free, and tried to find something else. Eventually I just gave it and bought it, and then kicked myself for being such a cheapskate and waiting. It's really that good, and can be made to look even better than Sense, with all the customization options.
