Help Sense won't load on boot

QMeli907

Newbie
Went to my homescreen and it was blank except for my background. A soft reset wouldn't load sense either. I have changed nothing on my phone, non rooted.

What would cause this and how can I get all my sense widgets back?

I realize this might get moved, but no one visits the support and troubleshooting forum on here, and I need quick help. Thanks guys

Yes it will get moved, there is plenty of traffic in the Support section IMO.

Now, when you say soft reset, you turned phone off, did a battery pull then rebooted?

Do a hard reset, if you're unable to scroll to settings, follow the instructions below.

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC DROID Incredible as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

  • Turn the power off. If your HTC DROID Incredible is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  • Hold the Volume Down button
  • Press and release the Power button
  • You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
  • Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
  • Press and release the Power button
  • Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO

If you selected YES, all data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC DROID Incredible. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

If this doesn't help, you'll need to return it to VZW.

Hope this helps.
