Root Senseless Ports

[MusicJunkie]

I was perusing YouTube where I found an old video (2010) of a TouchWiz ROM on the Evo 4G. According to the recent post by the uploader PuertoBlack2003 stopped working on the ROM. -_- Are there any other ported ROMs out there from other overlay's for the Evo 4G? I saw something about a port from the Droid 3 but some key features don't work so I don't want that one. Thanks.

Porting non-HTC devices to our phones is very hard to do.For sense to sense all you have to replace is a couple of folders and some information in some of the build props.

There have been a couple of attempts but they usually arent functional.

So I'm finding out. I would like to try TouchWiz (originally my favorite Android overlay ) on my Evo4G.

The problems are a result of the manufacturers layover (Touchwiz, sense, ect) not being open source. Its not an issue when going from sense to sense, but trying to get Touchwiz onto an HTC device becomes a lot more difficult when you dont have the code.

Damn. Well I'll just give up on that idea, lol
