Help Sent and Received messages in different threads?

Hey guys, this isn't exactly a big issue or anything, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. So basically, when I reply to a text message it shows up in a new thread that just has my replies to the person. (One thread for the received messages and one for the messages I send.) This has only happened with a couple of my contacts though. For example, it always happens when my father texts me and it just happened with another contact. They are both Verizon users, but I don't think that matters since it doesn't happen with other contacts that are also on Verizon. Any ideas?

Haven't seen that. Are they from the same address book? Like is one in a phone contact and another in your gmail one? Do both show up as "Dad"?

Did you send out a multi-person text sometime? That sounds like what happened to me after I sent a multiple recipient text, I started getting new replies from them in that text even though my responses were in the individual threads.
