Help Sent Gmail Emails

This has happened recently, maybe within the last week. I haven't changed my phone (ie it's stock). When I send/reply an email from my gmail account, the sent email stays in the in box instead of going into my sent items. Anyone know how to fix this?

I am having the sameout box problem. And it doesn't seem to be pushing e-mails quite right. Upon searching this forum I found others who have had problems in the past. It may have been a Google/Gmail issue and not so much the phone

It seems to be working now, so maybe it corrected itself. It was pretty annoying though.
