Help Sent Messages folder?

Verizon set up my home e-mail to send receive via the Charge as I am sure most of you have set up. I went to the Verizon store recently to ask how I view my sent e-mail messages and no one there knew the answer. The only folders for my mailbox are: Inbox, Drafts, Outbox (always empty), and Trash. Were is Sent messages?

I hit menu, go to labels and hit sent folder
