Separate Tones

I've been trying to figure out a way to have three different tones for Email - Facebook & texts. Phones less advanced have allowed me to have separate tones for each individual incoming item. This phone however does not UNLESS I'm missing something.

Is there a way to customize this?

Yes it can be done. In each of the apps you listed hit the menu button, choose settings, then notification ring tone.
