Seperating Custom Ringtones from Defaults

is there a way to seperate my custom downloaded ringtones from the default ringtones?

I like using the defaults for notification sounds, but I dont want them all mixed in with my ringtones, and im not sure how to delete or move them...

I have a folder on my SD card .. audio > ringtones and they are all put into the folder, i was just curious if there was any other means of seperation?

You could edit them and put an "a" in front of the name to ensure they're always at the top of the lists.

One possible solution is to add the app Rings Extended which will allow you to use any music file on the phone as a ringer.

You'd then move your custom ringtones into another folder (or just rename the folder they're in; i.e. audio > ringtones1). This way when you go to change a ringtone you'll be prompted to use the android sounds or use Rings Extended to find your custom tone.
