I noticed that after updating from 6.2 to 6.3, my battery mod, transparent notification, and coloured settings were changed back to stock...so I went and reapplied the mod through recovery. However, it still doesnt change. anybody else have the same problem?

Did you make a new kitchen zip or use the old one? Mine reverted back also but I created a new zip and flashed them in recovery. Worked.

I was using the new rom kitchen. I manage to pinpoint it to the battery mods. Everything else is fine. When I try to install the battery mods, an error occurs and installation aborts

I installed the "Green G" battery mod this time. Went ok. You might ask over at the xda site see if they have an answer.

Go back to the kitchen and try it again - ChanceM updated the kitchen this afternoon and the Green Mod works now with the 6.3 update.

Thanks but I tried it and I'm still not getting a lock after 5minutes. Do I have to be outside for it to work? Im trying to get detected and I'm on the main floor of my house

You should be outdoors. GPS signals are seriously degraded by passing through windows and doors, and with the limited GPS antennae in the Captivate, you want as clear a line of sight to those satellites as you can get.
