Help Serendipity 7, problem with CWM

Last night I flashed to from stock Froyo to Serendipity 7. I had previously installed rooted and installed CWM as I was originally going to go to CyanogenMod. I was able to 'successfully' flash to Serendipity. I can boot to it and it appears to be stable. The problem is that I can no longer boot into CWM/Recovery Mode. When attempting, after the ATT World Phone screen, it get stuck at a screen that looks like something out of The Matrix, or like when a video card driver fails in Windows.

If I reboot to Serendipity, I can install ROM Manager and it shows that CWM is installed. I can even install another version of it but I still can't boot to Recovery Mode.

For now, I'd be happy if I could just be able to boot into Recover/CWM. It appears that Serendity is fine. I would like to be able to flash another ROM/kernal if I want to and/or be able to return to stock.

Thanks in advance

I did get it figured out. Turned out that originally flashing the bootloader didn't take. I flashed the I897 GB Bootloader and all is well now.
