Root Serendipity7 Modem

Rooted and installed Rom but cannot get bluetooth to work. Heard modem change required. How do I do this since Rom manager will not work. as an aside when it boots I get a screen of multicolored bars befor the Serendipity boot screen comes on. Is this normal.Thanks

ROM manager? How did you 'install' SVII?

Also if you look on XDA, it explains the Modem swap very well. Flash via CMW.
