Help Serious SD card issue

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I got a message that there was an OTA available for download.

I am already on android 2.2 & my phone has not been rooted ever.

I straight away started downloading it as it was late in the night as well.

I put in for downloading & as it was very slow I slept off & in the morning when I saw the phone it was not starting. I then restarted it by removing the battery but after doing so the phone is just not accepting the SD card & also the update had failed.

I removed the SD card & inserted it back again but got the same message.

I Tried connecting the phone to my computer thru the disk drive option but I was not getting that option only when I connected the cable to the phone.

Someone pls help on this....Is it due to the update that I was trying to download or what, I m scared for my data on the SD card.

Try doing a factory reset first settings/privacy/factory reset, if this doesn't work then try the next thing.
Copy your data from the sd card to your pc using a card reader & then format your sd card, then see if it works in your phone.
