Root seriously bricked

(almost) NOTHING WORKS.
I was trying to install FroYo. The first thing that went wrong was when I was trying to install the superuser zip it wouldn't flash. No problem I said and turned off signatures. It flashed and went into a reboot loop. I've tried going through the steps again and it failed again. Then I tried deaths guide. I get an "emergency connection" thing and it asks me to put in my imei and s/n. This always fails because verizon uses an MEID not an imei. I've tried several times to enter my meid and that fails too.

The last ROM and had working 100% was unrooted stock ZVC. amon/gnm recovery still works and if I hold down 5 and plug in the USB cable it goes to that "Downloading... Do not unplug" screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want a paper weight.

call tech support and explain that it bricked during the update.... they will overnight a phone to you...
