Root seriously? cant oen QR codes in phone browser?

Well about a year ago I could have swore I had an app that would allow me to tap my phones screen and open all links including QR codes. Now I can't find this handy app. I've looked for a long time and now can't locate it. QR Droid and QR scanner scan images from other sources whereas this handy app would allow me to use my phone and upon coming to a QR image I'd just tap or long press and my phones browser would open it like any other link or button. Frankly I enjoy predominatly using my phone to browse the web shouldn't. I be able to tap a QR code and my smartphone distinguish it f:Drom a mere image?

Is it this?

Try QR Droid? That's what I use. It enables me to scan the codes, and then hit Open URL.

This is true; but I do most of my web surfing on my triumph. So turning on a computer and typing in the exact URL I found on my phone only to then go back to my phone and then turn the camera on s that I can take a photo of my commuter screen is tedious. But sometimes my computer is not around so this program was quite nifty in tha:)t I could tap my touchscreen and it take me to the URL. We Droid makes you use their internal browser rather than making the native one smarter. Or maybe ill tinker with it more. If I can set it as my default browser it would be efficient.

Right, as do I; Download QR Droid from the market on your triumph, then open a site with a QR Code. If its a download, it'll open URL, start downloading. If you are scanning a website, it'll load in your browser. I use QR Droid + Dolphin.
