Root set cpu and sd increase

is anyone still using these with the newest build of cm7? i know there is a built in sd increase on cm7 but not sure what speed since it does not show anywhere, i was thinking of using set cpu just to set a screen off profile to try to save the battery a bit. although with set cpu running it seems laggy whne i unlick it from superuser it seems to speed up or am i just crazy.

i dont use none of them, but have smartass for my governor and my battery life is good and sd booster, i was using that before the new build but dont use it no more since one is built in this new build.

I dropped SD SPEED INCREASE since installing CM7 05212011.I checked the read & write speeds w/an app called SD TOOLS. You really don't need an SD booster app anymore.

I'm using CPU BOOST PRO for its additional profiles not included in the stock CPU settings.
However,on build 05212011,try the new SMARTASS mode for additional battery savings,if SET CPU is giving you problems.Information on this new mode selection can be found in the PPA CM7 WIKI PAGE.
