Set Default Web Browser

The web browser icon is the actual stock web browser app. You can remove it and replace it by the chrome app (you'll have the chrome icon instead). To make chrome the default, just chose as the "default app" when the phone asks (when you are using an app that opens a web browser)

Click "applications". You can hold any of the applications and drag into the bottom bar, as you can drag those from the bottom bar into the applications pages. If you have your applications organized alphabetically, you won't be able to do it, so you have to select a different arrangement.
