Set Password for Screen Unlock (Captivate)

Hello everyone,

Is there any way to set a numeric password so that when you wake the captivate up it asks for the password. Currently, I can only find that you can set a pattern to unlock the screen. But no option for a numeric password. Is this possible?

not native to the phone but I think there might be some screen lock apps on the market
