Help Set specific volume level for each notification sound?

Lurker
I know you can change the ringer type between each notification. I use three different notifications (Gmail, Messages, Voice Mail) and I have three different ring tones for each of those, but I want to be able to change the volume for each of them. For instance, the Gmail notification is too loud, and I don't want to be startled every time I get a freakin' email.

I swear you could change each notification volume level independent of each other before the Gingerbread update, but maybe I am wrong. I was looking into Sound Manager, but it appears to group all the Notifications sounds into one bundle too, just like the sound settings on the Evo.

Thanks in advance.

FYI, I thoroughly researched this issue before posting to no avail. Should you find the answer posted in this forum, kindly post the link to the answer instead of bashing, thank you.

I don't think you can do what you want (nor do I think it was possible pre-GB).

What you can do is use an audio-app to change the loudness of the notification sounds. I have, for example, two gmail notifications: gmail and gmailshhhhh.

sorry no.. there was only volume control for notifications pre or post GB. However, does anyone know where the notifications sounds are and if we can add to them like we can for ring tones? Thank You!

Nevermind... i figured it out and it works!
