Root Set up root using unrevoked but needs help

Welcome, and congrats on rooting 
. There are a number of ways to go about this. One way is to flash a custom ROM, as most of them have a lot of the bloatware removed. If you're not ready to do that, you can remove or disable bloatware on the current (stock) ROM. The first thing you should do, if you haven't yet, is make a nandroid backup. Once you've done that, you have a couple of options. See the Rooting for Dummies guide - section 2 under after rooting. That involves you using Titanium backup to freeze whatever you don't want running. It's just as good as removing it. You have to buy titanium backup, though. Another option is to use root explorer (also costs a few dollars) or ES Explorer (free, but root mode may or may not work right) to rename or remove bloatware. If you got with the first option, just follow the instructions in the guide. If you go the second route, browse to /system/app, find what you want removed, and rename the extension from .apk to .bak. Again, make sure you've made a nandroid backup before trying any of this. If you need more instructions, feel free to ask.

2) Turn the phone back on while pressing and holding volume down to get to hboot (white screen with menu options)
3) Select the option for recovery
4) The phone will reboot, and you'll be at a black screen with menu options
5) Assuming you have Clockwork (default with unrevoked), select the option for nandroid
6) Select the backup option, and recovery will make a full backup. Once it is done reboot.
If flashed RA recovery (guessing you didn't), follow the same steps until you get to recovery. The options are just a little different. At the main menu, you'll have an option that says backup/restore. Like I said, I'm guessing you didn't flash a different recovery.
