Root SetCPU config

What is the best way to set up SetCPU for optimal performance and battery preservation. A balance between the two, I suppose. What profiles do I need to enable and how should I modify them?

Thanks!

The best thing to do is to play around with them and see what works best for your phone. Just make sure that the "Start of boot" box is NOT checked.

I have mine set at 528/787 and haven't seen any problems with it thus far. As far as profiles, I just have my failsafe set at 40 degrees C. That temp is what I've seen most people set theirs at.

To optimize performance, it's best to have the min/max as close together as possible. However, this will likely drain your battery with respect to your settings.

I've got my min set around 147. and it runs fine, since its on demand it pumps up fast. This minimizes my power drain. but i've not tried it for more than 2 days now since I rooted 3 days ago. I'd be curious what others say as well.

Set the sleep profile to 480max 245min that will save the battery but not make it so sleepy the profile picture lags when you get a call. Overall I set mine to 768max 245min but the max varies from phone to phone.
